Lamb Ularthiyathu

ingredients
1. lamb meat, boneless -800gm
2. turmeric powder-5 gm
3. chilli powder-15 gm
4. coriander powder-10 gm
5. black pepper corns, crushed-8 gm
6. cloves- 5 gm
7. green chillies slit-5
8. garlic sliced-20 gm
9. ginger sliced long-15 gm
10. ginger-garlic paste- 30 gm
11. mustard-5 gm
12. onion-200 gm
13. tomatoes-150gm
14. curry leaves-3 stalks
15. salt to taste
16. cinnamon-5gm
17. cardomom-5 gm
18. garam masala powder-10 gm
19. coconut cut into slivers-1/2
20. coconut oil-150 ml
method
Cut lamb into one inch cubes. Marinate the lamb with chilli powder,coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, half of curry leaves, 30 ml of coconut oil and salt, keep aside for one hour. Cook the lamb till the water has evaporated of completely. Heat coconut oil in a pan. Crackle mustard, add curry leaves, ginger, garlic, green chillies. Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Add sliced onion and saute till the onion turns golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and cook well. Add the pressure-cooked lamb, coconut slivers, cook on medium heat till dry. Sprinkle garam masala powder, crushed pepper corns. check the seasoning, garnish with fried curry leaves.
