ingredients
1. 500 gms drumstick, brinjal, snakegourd, pumpkin, cucumber, potato etc cut into long thick pieces
2. green chillies spilt -4
3. small red onions -1/2 cup
4. turmeric powder, salt, curry leaves as required
5. 2 cup grated coconut
6. 2 pinch cumin seeds
7. 1/2 cup curd or big gooseberry size tamarind diluted in water.
8. 1 dsp coconut oil
9. 1 cup water
method
Cook vegetables with water, salt , turmeric powder & green chillies.When the vegetables are nearly done add coarsely ground grated coconut , red onion & cumin seeds (do not stir). Add curry leaves & again cook closing the pan. When the vegetables are properly cooked, stir well. Add curd or tamarind water. Remove from fire and add coconut oil.
