Chutney Powder
ingredients
1. coconut milk residue - 400 gm
( after partial extraction of milk)
2. bengal gram dhal -150gm
3. red chilli- 10-15 gm
4. curry leaves- 20 gm
5. ginger-40 gm
6. salt and tamarind - as required
7. coconut oil-1 tsp
method
Roast bengal gram dhal with little oil to a light brown colour. Roast milk residue, chilli, ginger pieces and curry leaves together at low heat adding little coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients together, add salt and tamarind and make into a coarse powder.
