Kingfish (Neymeen) Curry
ingredients
1. king fish - 10 pieces
2. turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
3. salt to taste
4. tamarind ( kudampuli) – 2 - 3 pieces
5. oil – 2 tablespoons
6. curry leaves- a few
7. red chili powder – 3 tablespoons
8. coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
9. fenugreek powder- 2 pinches
method

method
Remove the skin, clean and keep aside the fish. Heat oil and saut chili powder, corianderpowder and fenugreek powder until the color turns brown. Boil water (1Cup), curry leaves, salt and washed tamarind. Add pieces of fish to the boiling water and let it cook for 20 minutes oruntil the gravy is little thick. This curry tastes better next day.
