Buttermilk Curry (Moru Kaachiyathu)
ingredients
1. curd- 1/2 litre
2. green chilly-2
3. garlic-2 flakes
4. small onion-1
5. turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
6. ginger- 1 small piece
7. cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
8. curry leaves-2 stalks
9. mustard and fenugeek - a pinch
10. salt to taste.
11. oil a little
method
Churn the curd for few seconds in a mixer. Heat oil and fry mustard, fenugreek and 1 stalk of curry leaves. (Grind 2 to 7 ingredients and 1 stalk of curry leaves to a fine paste). Add this paste and saute over low fire. Add churned curd and 2cups of water. Stir well, add salt and when it is hot remove from fire.
