Fish- Coconut Milk Curry
ingredients
1. fish pieces- 1/2 kg
2. coconut oil- 2 dsp
small onion chopped - 1 cup
ginger chopped- 1dsp
green chilly spilt-3
curry leaves- 3 stalks
3. coconut grated - 1/2 cup
fennel seeds- 1 tsp
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
chilly powder- 1 tsp
coriander powder- 1/4 tsp
4. salt to taste
5. tamarind water - 1/4 cup
6. coconut milk - 1/2 cup
method
Grind the ingredients of third item to a fine paste. Heat oil in a skillet and saute the ingredients of second item. Add the ground paste, salt and tamarind water. When boiled add fish pieces and water sufficent to cook. When the fish is soft add coconut milk and remove from fire.
