Murukku
ingredients
1. bengal gram flour- 3 cup
rice flour- 1 3/4 cup
dalda-1 tsp
2. cumin seeds broiled and
powdered- 1/2 tsp
chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
asafoetida powder- 1/4 tsp
gingelly seeds -1 tsp
method
Mix dalda in the gram flour and rice flour with the finger tips. Add the ingredients of the second item and by sprinkling water knead the flour without much pressure. Using murukku mould press out dough and fry in hot oil.
