Coconut Cookies

ingredients
1. maida- 2oo gm
2. dalda/ghee- 130 gm
3. sugar (powdered)- 170 gm
4. grated coconut- 150 gm
5. baking powder- 2 tsp
6. cardamom powder- 3/4 tsp or to taste
7. salt- a pinch

method
Dry grated coconut in the oven at low temperature for half- an - hour and grind for a while in the mixer grinder. Mix all the ingredients with melted fat. Make dough with water if required and knead well. The dough is role into 1 cm thick sheet and cut into pieces. The cut pieces are kept in a greased tray and baked in an oven at 150'C until pale brown colour is obtained.
