Monisha
ആദ്യചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് ദേശീയ അവാര്ഡ് നേടിയ പ്രതിഭയാണ് മോനിഷ. ഈ അവാര്ഡ് നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ നടിയും മോനിഷ തന്നെ. 1986-ല് ഹരിഹരന് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത 'നഖക്ഷതങ്ങളി'ലാണ് ഈ പെണ്കുട്ടി ആദ്യം അഭിനയിച്ചത്.
പെരുന്തച്ചന്, കമലദളം, കടവ്, ചമ്പക്കുളം തച്ചന്, ആര്യന്, അധിപന്, തലസ്ഥാനം തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് മോനിഷയുടെ പ്രധാന ചിത്രങ്ങള്. തമിഴ്, കന്നട സിനിമകളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ചെപ്പടിവിദ്യയായിരുന്നു അവസാനചിത്രം. പക്ഷേ, അതു പൂര്ത്റ്റ്ഹിയാക്കാനായില്ല.
1992 ഡിസംബര് അഞ്ചിന് ചേര്ത്തലയ്ക്കടുത്തുണ്ടായ കാറപകടത്തില് മോനിഷ അന്തരിച്ചു; വെറും 21 വയസുള്ളപ്പോള്.
