Mamta Mohandas, always chased by gossips and given many 'titles' by the media and the moviebuffs, gets a real 'bahumathi' this time. A middle-east organisation conferred 'Sensational Star'ship on her. She has revealed the news in an interview with a Malayalam movie magazine. A real title, at last.

Born and brought up in Bangalore, Mamta Mohandas, was introduced to cinema by veteran director Hariharan in the Malayalam movie Mayookham. She then acted as Mammootty's sister in Bus Conducter, which was followed by the title role in Lanka, opposite Suresh Gopi. It may be Lanka that made her the 'Sensational Star.' Anyway, she is again on the news; enough!
