dear readers

while reading about CHEMMEEN, i was remembering about my childhood. i had to travel a long distance to watch this movie.
i rememeber the acting of sathyan, adoor pankajam, kottarakkara, sheela etc.
there sathyan, kottarakkara and pankajam were glittering.
there is no actors born in malayalam like sathyan.
many similar movies screened like "chemmeen" but none of them could replace the fame of "chemmeen"
let me shower "aadaranjalikal" to late sathyan and kottarakkara sreedharn nair.

Like prakashettan said, Sathyansar was an incomparable actor. He left us at the peak of his career and we all will cherish his memory all along our life. Chemmeen is also the all-time-greatest with the ever-melodious songs, photography, story, direction and the acting. What a great contribution by Ramu Kariat, Babu Sait and Thakazhy to all the Keralites (and to India and to the world).

Chemmeen is the finest of all films so far made in Malayalam that excels in aesthetic and techinical perfection. The performances of the actors were lifelike as if they were picked from the fisherfolks of Neerkunnam, especially Sathyan and Kottarakkara. An actor with mastery over "Bhavabhinaya" , Sathyan standa aloof from all other actors in Malayalam screen with the exception of Thilakan. It is observed that now a days certain mimicry artists are trying to mimic Satyan obviously with the intention of discredting this great thespian.
