തോണ്ണൂറുകളുടെ തുടക്കത്തിലെ ക്യാമ്പസിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലുള്ള സിനിമ. പതിനഞ്ച് വര്ഷം മുന്പ് കോളജ് വിട്ടവര് ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ അനുസ്മരണച്ചടങ്ങിനായി ക്യാമ്പസില് ഒത്തു ചേരുന്നു. പൂര്ത്തീകരിക്കാതെ പോയ പഴയ അഭിലാഷങ്ങള് സഫലമാക്കാനും വെളിവാക്കപ്പെടാതെ പോയ തെളിവുകള് പുറത്തു വരാനും ഈ കൂടിച്ചേരല് കാരണമാകുന്നു.

നല്ല കഥ നന്നായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തമാശയും വൈകാരികമുഹൂര്ത്തങ്ങളും വേണ്ടുവോളമുണ്ട്. കാസ്റ്റിങ് ഏറെക്കുറെ കൃത്യം. എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗം മികച്ചതാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സസ്പെന്സ് നില നിര്ത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ആഖ്യാനഭേദത്തിലൂടെ കഥയുടെ വളര്ച്ച ആകര്ഷണീയമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

സംവിധായകനെന്ന നിലയില് ലാല് ജോസിന് അഭിമാനിക്കാനുള്ള വകയുണ്ട്. തീര്ച്ചയായും കാണാവുന്ന സിനിമ.

very good songs and good acting by indrajith. the scene in which kavya and prithviraj first open their hearts is a bit unnatural. but avoiding that scene, the movie is perfect.

Classmates is a very good movie if not excellent. The young generation acted in the film consolidates the fact that the future of Malayalam cinema is safe in their hands. Hats off to Lal Jose and crew!!!
a good movie which makes u nostalgic, indrajit, kavya, radhika, jayasurya and narien acted well, prithviraj did a good job, but his make up on the later period was not good, so was notlooking natural, plus where they tell each other about the love was not at all natural. any way this movie, took us to our college time. well done

Good movie. However the timings are not correct. E.g. the college knows the Death of Murali only after completing the Vote counting, when Prithvi and Jayasurya fighting.
This is absolutely wrong, as all these guys are staying in hostel, and should know the death of Murali before they go to college. Because, the guard found the body early in the morning and he shouted…
Let us forget all these…..It is a very good presentation from Laljose…
I watched the movie classmates.The movie really takes to our college days.All should watch that movie.

Admirers should see films like "oru maymasa pulariyil" and "sarvakalasala"

Hello frndz... Its a Nice campus love story but laljose should include some more scenes in the hostels. In a College we are expecting the hostel life also. He missed that scenes..then it will be a wonderful College life story...
if class mates is supposed to be the class with which malayalam movies are to be judged, yes it gets a passing score.when you take the class of- class mates-as amovie,it dont even get a C.Simply because somany scenes are stolen from old hindi movies like"Bobby".Undue acclamations to movies like Class Mates only help to make those director work even lesshard to make a good malayalam movies. I find this movie as only an average one.Nothing is there in this movie except a fresh song and some nice scenes betwen narein and radhika,feeling pitty about people who has written good,great ,excellent.

This movie clearly shows that, a movie is an art of its director and not the actors. The director show that even with out superstars, a movie can be a superhit. Let the old men, Mammotty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi etc resign from the industry.

Its been tremendous! Hats off Lal! But with the same tounge, let me to be frank, You could have broght more from the Hostel life. Its an inevitable part of the College life. Its good to see that friendship stays beyond the walls of politics. Moral it is. Friends can cherrish it. Those who value the relation which they builded at College life will cherrish it ofcourse. Thanks to Lal from Nirmalagiri Friends for coming up with such a good work.
I watched the movie five times. It is a kind of movie that is a reminder of the past. Everybody would like the movie very much
