Sreenivasan plays the lead role of Advocate Ravishankar in the film and Padmapriya is his wife Maya. Others in the cast include Riaz Khan, VK Sreeraman, Innocent, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar, Cochin Haneefa, Abu Salim, Babu Namboothiri, Suresh Krishna, Meghanathan, Anand, Poornima, Maithili, Shanthi, Sreelatha and Bindu Panicker.

പ്രതിഭയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഒരു കേസ് പോലും സ്വന്തമായി വാദിക്കാന് അവസരം ലഭിക്കാത്ത അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് രവിശങ്കറിന്റെ കഥയാണിത്. പണവും പത്രാസുമുള്ളവര്ക്കു വേണ്ടി മാത്രം വാദിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സീനിയര് വക്കീലിനൊപ്പം 12 വര്ഷം രവിശങ്കര് ജോലി ചെയ്തു. ഒടുവില് സീനിയര് വക്കീലുമായി പിണങ്ങി കുഴപ്പം പിടിച്ച ഒരു കേസിന്റെ പബ്ലിക് പ്രോസിക്യൂട്ടറാകുന്നു. ശത്രുക്കളെ കുടുക്കാനുള്ള തന്ത്രം മെനയുന്നതിനിടയില്, ഭാര്യ പോലും രവിയില് നിന്ന് അകലുന്നു. ഒടുവില്, സിനിമകളിലെ നാട്ടുനടപ്പനുസരിച്ച് നായകന് ജയിക്കുന്നു.
PLUSES
ശ്രീനിവാസന് ടച്ചുള്ള ഒട്ടേറെ തമാശകളുണ്ട്. ക്ലൈമാക്സും നന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു. ആക്റ്റിവിസ്റ്റായ വീട്ടമ്മയുടെ വേഷം പദ്മപ്രിയയും ഭംഗിയാക്കി. അഭിനേതാക്കള്ക്ക് വലിയ താരപരിവേഷമില്ലാത്തതിനാല്, ഒരു സാധാരണ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ലളിതഭംഗിയുണ്ട് സിനിമയ്ക്ക്.
MINUSES
ചിലയിടത്ത് വൈകാരികരംഗങ്ങള് തീരെ ശോഭിക്കുന്നില്ല; വൈകാരികത അനുഭവവേദ്യമാക്കാന് പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. മറ്റു ചിലപ്പോള് അതിവാചാലതയും അനുഭവപ്പെടും. സംവിധായകന്റെ കരവിരുതില്ലായ്മ പലയിടത്തും വ്യക്തമാണ്.
VERDICT
കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളേയും കൂട്ടി കാണാവുന്ന മോശമല്ലാത്ത സിനിമ.

Sreenivasan has finally got a role where can actually belt a few villains and come up smelling roses! Good for him.
The barely disguised references to the shinanigans of our present-day politicians has been finely handled, too.
Altogether a good entertainer, but why is our favourite hero looking so plasticky? Too much greasepaint? Someone should tell him to stick to the simplicity we all love about him.
