WHAT'S IT
നിശ്ചയിച്ചുറപ്പിച്ച വിവാഹം നടക്കാതെ പോയ പ്രണയിനികളാണ് ഡേവിഡ് ജോണ് കൊട്ടാരത്തിലും സാറാമ്മയും. നടക്കാതെ പോയ വിവാഹത്തിന്റെ വാര്ഷികമാഘോഷിച്ചും മറ്റും അവര് 'ജോളിയായി' കഴിയുമ്പോഴാണ് സാറാമ്മയുടെ അച്ഛന് വിവാഹേതരബന്ധത്തിലുള്ള കുട്ടി ഒരു കൊലപാതകക്കേസിലെ പ്രതിയാക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. നിരപരാധിയായ ആ കുട്ടിയെ രക്ഷിക്കാന് ഡേവിഡ് ഇറങ്ങിത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ ഈര്ക്കില് പാര്ട്ടിനേതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അധികാര ഭ്രമത്തിലുള്ള നെറികേട് ജനസമക്ഷം ഡേവിഡ് തുറന്നു കാട്ടുന്നു.
PLUSES
വിജയരാഘവന്റെ അഭിനയമാണ് എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ട മേന്മ. പാലാക്കാരന് രാഷ്ട്രീയ ആചാര്യനായി വിജയരാഘവന് തിളങ്ങി. ചിരിയും ആവേശവും വിതറുന്ന ചില ഡയലോഗുകളുണ്ട്. ആരാധകര്ക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന വിധത്തില് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ രൂപഭംഗി ഓരോ ഫ്രെയ്മിലും പകര്ത്തിയെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
MINUSES
പിച്ച വയ്ക്കുമ്പോള് പോലും വീണിട്ടില്ലാത്ത സ്ഥിരം നായകസങ്കല്പത്തിലുള്ള മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പുതുമയൊന്നുമില്ല. കഥയ്ക്കും അവിചാരിതമായ ക്ലൈമാക്സോ കാണികളെ പിടിച്ചു നിര്ത്തുന്ന ടെമ്പോയോ ഇല്ല. പോലീസ് ഓഫീസറെ കബളിപ്പിച്ച് ‘പ്രതി’യുമായി ഹെലികോപ്ടറില് നായകന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്ന രംഗം നന്നായെങ്കിലും പോലീസുകാരുടെ നേരെ മുകളില് വന്ന് മൊബൈലില് കളിയാക്കുന്നതും മറ്റും ഒഴിവാക്കാമായിരുന്നു. ക്ലൈമാക്സ് രംഗത്ത് രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെ ബോധവല്ക്കരിക്കാനുള്ള പ്രസംഗവും മറ്റും ക്ഷമയോടെ കണ്ടിരിക്കാന് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ കടുത്ത ആരാധകര് പോലും തയാറാകുമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് നമ്മുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ശബ്ദം കൊടുത്തതും മറ്റും പക്വതയില്ലാത്ത സിനിമാപ്രവര്ത്തനമായിപ്പോയി.
VERDICT
ഈ ‘നസ്രാണി’ കോട്ടയം കുഞ്ഞച്ചന്റെ നിഴല് പോലുമാകില്ല.

Rating 4/10 is for an average movie.better put 2/10 for Nasrani.
Though Mammootty is a sensible person sometimes even he does not know wat he does........The main reason to fail most of the mammootty movies is not director, mammootty itself.....But in case of mohanlal,he is not at all sensible to choose a right story,director or even movie also.
This movie is not as bad you mentioned...Not as expected...
മമ്മൂട്ടി കുറച്ചുകൂടി സെലക്ടീവാകേണം. അഭിനയത്തികവിന്റെ തമ്പുരാക്കന്മാര് ജോഷിയോടായാലും പറ്റില്ല എന്നു പറയേണ്ട കാലംവരുന്നു.
So far 2007 is good for Mammootty..........
waiting for next upcoming flops like Raudram,Theepetti chandran etc.

In my opinion NASRAANI deserves at least 5/10. It was not just a one man man show like AliBhai. It is a total entertainer and Mammootty clearly proves who is the actual King of Malayalam Filmdom and Box Office Winner.
Who said NASRAANI is boring !! How can people say that... Itz sure that only blind lal fans can say so. Even Mohanlal wont tell NASRAANI is that bad. Yup.. as "Indulekha" said it has plus and minus. But for sure its not as bad as AliBhai. As per informations from all over Kerala, NASRAANI is still managing excellent collection. Only few theatres were there having a collection below 80%.
Even LAL fans are very sure that NASRAANI will go on top of Alibhai easily. The interesting fact is LAL fans started filthy support Prithviraj film 'Choclates' than Mohanlal film 'PARADESI', in order to demote MAMMOOTTY film NASRAANI as they afraid their support to PARADESI will only make NASRAANI's way to SUPERHIT grade much easily.
NASRAANI may be not upto the expectation, but the film is not as crap like other recent similar films.
Introduction scene with Helicopter was not that bad man...!! It was fine... May be jealous... The movie was very interesting and will defenitely be a SUPER HIT and will run 125 Days...

I think itz time for Mohanlal to restrict himself to old man role in Paradesi.. Everybody has appreciated his role in 80's. even the dialog presentation was not good.
