Zolo's Rain Haiga
Haiku is a Japanese word which means, 'playful phrase'. Haiga is haiku painting. Haiga combined a haiku poem in calligraphy with a simple brush painting. Here is a collection of Haiga by Zolo, an American who is very famous for his Haiga as well as Haiku.

One umbrella
both of us getting
a little wet

Raindrop
small
froglet
hops
one red
geranium
petal

Even in the rain...
moths still
strangely attracted
to the light,
approach...

After the typhoon...
a rain lily on the pond,
open and alive

even rain struck
a floating frog looks
nonchalant
